The spectacular Durbar Square of Patan is visited by almost all who travels to Kathmandu, even after the 2015 earthquake. Despite the earthquake, it still remains one of the finest collection of temples and palaces in the whole of Nepal.
Explore the beautiful city on this tour as you see their beautiful culture and traditions.
The tour starts from the Durbar Square, in whose streets you may wish you could take the wonderful atmosphere home. Even though this city was undoubtedly traumatised by the earthquake, as is clear through the damage to monuments and aid support, the people here are nevertheless extremely welcoming and warm as you walk past them. The history of this town will never cease to surprise you; it may feel as if you are walking through a movie set, yet the customs and people here are as genuine as they are fascinating.
The people of this town worship Kumari, a living goddess, who is said to be residing in the chosen pre-pubescent girls. Get an opportunity to interact with the locals and learn about their cultures as you visit the Kumari and receive their blessings.
